Accurate, timely pathology and laboratory services underpin the quality of our healthcare system. Never has there been a time when these services were more crucial. As New Zealand’s largest provider in this space, Asia Pacific Healthcare Group are looking to appoint a Communications Lead to create, manage and communicate content and messaging while supporting the communications needs across the business.
This is a busy national role where you will focus on communications projects that support the strategic direction of the Group.
What you will do
In this role you will:
- Develop and implement communication plans and provide leadership for special communication projects and campaigns
- Develop communications material for internal and external channels including our website, intranet, email, promotional materials, and presentations
- Support business leaders to shape messages and communicate effectively with their key stakeholders
- Engage with the public affairs team to facilitate media engagement activities
- Play a key role in our company-wide intranet upgrade
You’ll enjoy and be successful in this role if you:
- have at least five years’ experience across the communications spectrum
- enjoy writing and have excellent writing skills
- have a track record of producing high quality, concise and accessible communication products
- thrive with a variety of work and enjoy multi-tasking
- are digitally minded while understanding the various needs of different stakeholder groups
- get things done – you are an actions person and involve the right people to produce your best work
- can organise workload, forward-plan, prioritise and meet deadlines
- are personable and good at establishing networks and rapport with people across different levels of a business
- have a general interest in business growth and keen to contribute ideas and initiatives to support business development
