What you’ll be doing…
Working as part of the wider Pricing team in the heart of the EDF Business Solutions team, the ideal candidate will be highly numerate, analytical and a strong team player.
Key Responsibilities
• Generate and issue commercial pricing models
• Review of tender information to ascertain data requirements and identify opportunities and risks
• Data collection from tender documents and interpretation of the data into pricing models
• Close collaboration with team members and sales teams to ensure pricing proposal align to written proposal proposition
• Continuous improvement and development of new propositions
Who you are…
• You will work as part of the Bespoke Pricing team developing the pricing response of tender opportunities to support driving our growth and retention ambitions in import and renewable generation.
• Core responsibilities will be to ensure our prices keep track of ever-changing commodity markets, to work closely with the relevant Sales teams to complete pricing models using client / internal supplied data, and to perform data analytics to assess the commercial outcomes of these pricing models.
• This role will also support product and process improvement using data analytics and model development – with a view to keep track of market developments (e.g. legislative change) and optimise the customer experience, efficiency and reliability of pricing models.
• You will have experience or strong interest in understanding energy markets and enjoy using data and model development to achieve outcomes.
