We have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Operations Manager to join our Commercial Directorate on a permanent basis.
What's the role about?
In this role you will manage the business support team within the Commercial Operations Profession to ensure we trade legally, are GSCOP compliant (Grocery Supply Code of Practice) and adhere to Commercial processes.
You will be accountable for ensuring your team meets their SLAs and KPIs for key Commercial processes (New lines, Pricing, Promotions & Financial Invoicing).
You will be an outstanding specialist in people and will lead, inspire and develop a team of Partners, enabling each of them to thrive, make their best contribution and achieve their full potential whilst guiding them through significant systems and ways of working change.
It is critical you are able to build strong working relationships as you will be working closely with Commercial Teams, Customer, eCommerce,Tech & Change, Finance and Retail.
This is the ideal opportunity for a passionate leader of people who has extensive experience of implementing change.
Please note, the salary range for this role is £55,400 - £73,200 per annum (FTE)
What will you be doing as Commercial Operations Manager?
Some of the accountabilities for this role include:
Lead, coach and empower the team to deliver all operational tasks for Commercial to a high standard,‘right first time’, on time, ensuring we remain legal and GSCOP compliant.
You will build strong stakeholder relationships and understand their requirements in order to support the broader business strategy. You will lead and execute plans and activity to cover all aspects of the operation, including major trading peaks, business planning and meeting financial targets.
You will ensure you are engaged across the business, using your broad knowledge of the business to drive collaboration between cross functional stakeholders,resolving challenges and driving the best outcome for all parties.
You will lead the optimisation of the commercial performance of the team, working alongside our internal stakeholders (across Commercial, Online, Finance, eCommerce, Customer and Retail) to undertake end to end process reviews ensuring key process handoffs are known
