What’s the role about?
At John Lewis Financial Services we support our customers through the big events in their life and all the little moments in-between.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Lead for Point of Sale Credit operations. In this role you will create, deliver and drive the business vision, strategy and operational & customer plan with full P&L accountability, deliver a customer focused, market disruptive product.
What will you be doing?
You will own the product lifecycle and omni-channel customer experience to deliver a market leading product which disrupts the marketplace and sets new standards
Lead a cross-functional team with ownership of a product ecosystem of leading 3rd party providers
Leverage insight and internal and external networks to keep abreast of key customer requirements, market conditions and trends, including technological advancements.
Be accountable for all elements of the P&L.
Own and drive the proposition, product lifecycle and identification of new commercial opportunities and market leading customer experiences.
Effectively task manage a cross-functional team including , Professions and external Third Party providers to deliver the agreed objectives
Be responsible for compliance with John Lewis policies & procedures within the legal and regulatory framework.
What you'll have
Extensive experience in Point of Sale Consumer credit within Retail sector
P&L management
Leadership of complex matrix delivery teams (internal and 3rd party)
Significant relationship management (external and internal)
Digital channel development
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Strong awareness of the regulatory environment.
