The Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) Strategy and Operations team (S&O) drives the development and execution of our strategy and field operating model. This includes how the organization benefits customers and partners, enabling MCAPS to support them more effectively, efficiently, and with competitive differentiation. The team builds the connective tissue across MCAPS and MGB (Marketing & Gaming Business) to gain alignment and leverage existing capabilities, while empowering our people to be nimble, agile, successful, and thrilled to work for Microsoft.
This is an extremely exciting opportunity to join the newly created MCAPS Commercial Planning & Go-to-market (GTM) team within S&O. Our team leads Commercial planning, the planning priorities and execution, across MCAPS to enable an improved experience for our customers and field teams through coordinated improvements across revenue and investments, resource design, role success, GTM and landing. We also lead our GTM strategy, in partnership with MGB, and are accountable for our GTM experience and overall adoption.
About this role – Commercial Go to Market Execution Lead
You will work in collaboration with our Product Marketing Managers, our Solution Sales & Consumptions Leads and Field Leaders, to build a comprehensive landing strategy and execution plan to deliver our sales plays effectively as campaigns to scale and reach more customers. You will be core to the success of our go to market end to end strategy at Microsoft and will also lead the modernization of our Commercial Execution Playbook that publishes our field guidance at the start of every fiscal year.

Responsibilities
Create and deploy campaigns for sales plays that allow local Marketing teams to execute sales plays at scale
Modernize and land the financial year Commercial Execution Playbook (CEP) that guides all field roles on the changes and core priorities for the year
Collaborate with v-team to include the end to end adoption strategy from sales methodology, orchestration process, tooling, bill of materials and best practices for solution sales plays and the connected industry story
Deliver training and a landing framework for the sales plays, the campaigns and CEP that increase adoption and overall success of our sales plays
Design and execute a reporting/measure of success approach for the landing and adoption framework
Leverage listening mechanisms to analyze and understand field feedback related to landing, enablement, quality of our sales plays and customer relevance to improve the key areas identified
Build, publish and continuously update the landing roadmap
Qualifications
5+ years' experience in a customer facing role, preferably in large enterprise-level organizations
BA Degree specializing in Business, Marketing or equivalent experience
Proven ability to develop creative campaigns, landing and adoption solutions that result in measurable transformative outcomes
Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to influence and execute effectively in cross-functional environments
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with a technical or engineering organization
Product and or Sales Operation experience with technology teams/company
Experience with sales process and relevant tools. (CRM, Sales Force, Seismic, etc)
Strong project management skills: identify needs, designing effective solutions, building, and executing highly successful programs at scale through to completion
Effective analytical and project management skills, to deliver on time and deliver impact
Ability to work independently and effectively, driving successful outcomes with virtual teams
Location/Travel: Depending on working hours, work from home arrangements are available. Flexibility to accommodate US time zone is often required to attend critical meetings. Routine travel and international travel in support of projects and organizational alignment will be occasional up to 10% contingent upon Covid 19 travel restrictions.
Work Hours: This opportunity requires collaboration with worldwide stakeholders. Working on flexible business hours to connect with global stakeholders will be required to perform duties as outlined. Schedules will be flexible to support work-life balance and specific project/program needs.
