As a Commercial Account Manager, you will play a key role in helping to deliver EDF’s Energy Company Obligation (ECO) target whilst contributing towards helping Britain achieve net zero.
You will be responsible for the strategic and operational relationship with external supply chain partners. This responsibility covers the complete life cycle of ECO credits delivery from sourcing partners, negotiation of contracts, allocation of budget and then operational management of the partners’ delivery and performance.
Working as part of the ECO Commercial Arrangements team, you will contribute to the effective management of ECO credits purchase arrangements that form the c£100m annual spend on ECO and you will manage a number of external supplier relationships, with responsibility of contracts typically exceeding £5m per annum.

The Commercial Account Manager is the primary point of contact between EDF and a portfolio of supply chain partners. You will source and maintain relationships to ensure cost efficient and compliant delivery of ECO and will liaise with other internal teams within the department to ensure all legal and compliance requirements are met.
Once you have sourced potential suppliers, undertaken due-diligence and onboarding processes, you will negotiate contracts and allocate budget following an approvals process, ensuring EDF is protected from any risk and receives the best value.
You will then manage supply chain forecast of delivery and ensure partners deliver against agreed volumes, ensuring quality of delivery and a ‘right first time’ approach.
You will investigate, negotiate and find solutions to resolve complex issues and queries with partners, liaising with internal teams and occasionally with external bodies where necessary. You will play a part in the wider team, contributing to internal discussions, providing recommendations and ideas towards strategic decisions and processes.
