We offer the opportunity to build a career path within a fascinating industry, in a business line that offers variety, challenge and tremendous growth potential.

We embrace the fact that people are our greatest asset. It's our people that set us apart, and who our clients keep coming back to. Passionate about what we do and the culture we have developed, we believe that the key to our success is the teamwork and collaboration fostered, not only within Transport and Infrastructure, but right across the Beca Group. It's this culture that allows us to deliver excellence in technical delivery, client service and innovation in all that we do.

The opportunity

Our Coastal and Marine team provide a broad range of services to support clients across New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands. This includes advice on climate change and resilience through development planning, engineering design and construction. With a strong current and future portfolio of coastal, port and maritime projects we are looking for professionals with a passion for, or specialised in, coastal or maritime engineering. You will work within a dedicated team of passionate and skilled professionals who support you in developing your career in a way that aligns with your skills, knowledge or aspirations. This role provides opportunities to be part of collaborative multidisciplinary project teams on large and small scale maritime, port and coastal projects across New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands.

About you

We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about problem-solving, enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team environment and have an interest, specialisation and/or prior experience in coastal, maritime, or port projects. Ideally, candidates should possess a knowledge of coastal processes, port engineering or maritime structures design although training can also be provided in these areas.
