Finance Co-Ops/Intern

THE ROLE:

This opportunity will offer current college students to work in a dynamic finance and accounting environment, that includes assisting to support monthly and quarterly revenue close and IT reporting enhancement projects.  Additionally, interns will also have an opportunity to work directly with the Revenue Accounting team to assist in close process improvement initiatives. This position is based at our location in Austin, Texas.

THE PERSON:

Organized and detail-oriented, you're comfortable navigating a fast-paced, dynamic environment while successfully managing deadlines for assigned tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Intern will work on a variety of tasks that directly support the revenue close and reporting processes.  This includes ad hoc reporting, report tie outs, general ledger and sub ledger reconciliation, creating and/or modifying desktop procedures and supporting the booking of journal entries.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Strong interpersonal skills and professional maturity
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Well organized, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task several projects at once
• Results oriented
• Strong analytical, written and interpersonal skills with ability to identify problems and collaborate with others to provide options for resolution
• Familiarity with standard Microsoft office software
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
• Ability to work legally in the United States via citizen, legal residency or an appropriate visa/permit.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Pursuing a Bachelor degree with concentration in Accounting, Finance or business related disciplines
• Candidates should be pursuing an undergrad and graduating within the next year
