CNC LASER OPERATORS

Well established Auckland Sheetmetal companies specialising in steel are looking for reliable, experienced production focused CNC Laser Operators, to join their ever-expanding shift teams doing CNC Laser operating cutting Carbon Steel.

TWO JOBS available for either Day or Afternoon Shifts:

Afternoon Shift - 3.30pm – Midnight (Mon – Fri)  – WEST AUCKLAND

Day Shift - 6.00am - 4.30pm (Mon-Thurs 4 x 10 hour shifts) – EAST AUCKLAND

Main Responsibilities

• Previous CNC Laser operating experience essential
• CNC Laser operating cutting Carbon Steel.
• Production work focused
• Co2 Carbon Steel processing
• Reading & working with Engineering Drawings
• An advantage if you've operated a CNC LVD Laser cutting machine
• Complete work to a pre-set schedule with minimal supervision
• Previous forklift or overhead gantry crane experience a big advantage
• Healthy and Safety awareness very important
• Ensuring attention to detail so tasks are completed right first time
• Be currently living in NZ & have the right to work in NZ holding an NZ Work Visa

Job Details:

Type:             Permanent Fulltime Positions

Start:              ASAP

Wage:             $24-$30/hr neg with skills & experience

Location:        East & West Auckland

Overtime:       Overtime available (1½)

Hours             WEST AUCKLAND Afternoon Shift - 3.30pm – Midnight (Mon – Fri)

                        EAST AUCKLAND Day Shift 6.00am - 4.30pm (Mon-Thurs 4 x 10 hour shifts)
