The Cloud Finance practice provides support with transactional accounting and monthly reporting to small and medium sized businesses (SMBs). . Tax expertise is not required for this role, however experience with investment accounting and tax is an asset.
As a Cloud Finance Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.
Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and Partners
Prepare and deliver monthly management reports to owners/management
Review investment accounting and identify issues for further consideration by our tax teams.
Be proactively involved in the financial strategy of clients
Build rapport and develop relationship with clients
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Reviewing investment accounting and prepare annual summaries and reconciliations
Contribute to the development of your own and your team’s technical acumen
Train, coach, and supervise staff
Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
Seek opportunities to learn about how PwC works as a global network of firms
Share, collaborate and communicate confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner - verbally and written
Follow risk management and compliance procedures
Build and maintain an internal and external network

Considerable experience in public accounting;
CPA designation or equivalent is required;
Experience with cloud accounting software and apps (Xero, Quickbooks Online, Dext, etc.) is considered an asset

Flexibility, adaptability, speed, and the ability to handle ambiguity;
