Asda Technology is looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to join our growing Cloud Architecture Team working within the Technology department. You'll be working within an established team developing our cloud platform offering and supporting adoption by our business.  

This is an incredibly exciting time in Asda Technology as our business enters a new phase in its history. This is a once-in-a-career opportunity so you need to bring your A-game to work in an incredibly fast-paced and delivery focussed program.  

About You:

• Strong foundational knowledge of Enterprise IT and operating natively within cloud.
• A self-starter and passionate regards cloud technologies, able to create and deliver new process and technologies to advance Asda's use of cloud.
• Extensive experience of cloud design principles, modern application architectures and underlying platform technologies. Ideally with specialism within Azure, GCP and Kubernetes 
• Experience of cloud governance and managing effective use.
• Excellent written skills and the ability to document complex architectures into consumable documents and views.
• Knowledge of formal architectural frameworks, experience in the capture of systems requirements and translation into operational architectures.
