Client Technology Lead (formerly ATS) - Automotive & Manfucturing, Microsoft
 

Our CTL's are for Microsoft at the forefront of our digital transformation efforts for our customers, working exclusively to dissect the industry of a small set of customers, map scenarios to their technical foundation, understand and translate the customer priorities, desired outcomes and orchestrate resources to achieve or challenge the customer’s digital journey. The CTL/CTO’s technical acumen, industry expertise and commercial understanding enables the customer to do business in new disruptive ways through the adoption of Microsoft Cloud solutions, particularly Azure for this opportunity, working across a number of Automotive customers.

Responsibilities

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Digital Transformation & Innovation Strategy: Understand customer's business goals and the industry trends, Microsoft solution areas and partner solutions to build the 3 Horizon roadmap to enable customer’s DT/Innovation agenda. Expand Microsoft relationships with customers into DT partnerships.

  • Technology Thought Leadership: Reimagine the role of technology as a business and innovation partner to drive DT agenda of our enterprise customers, help them understand the impact of emerging and strategic technologies and inspire & influence them for Microsoft technologies to become the main enabler of business innovation.

  • Industry & Business Architecture: Create long-term strategy which links business, technology, and industry needs of our customers to enable their business and transformation strategy, based upon customer’s business, technology and industry knowledge.

  • Technology Sales: Orchestrate technology sales activities to drive the digital transformation vision and roadmap of our customers with Microsoft technologies. Plan and orchestrate the solution proposal and coordinate technology sales teams to provide the right solution to the customer.

  • Account Leadership: Change Agent internally and externally to inspire and ideate about possibilities new technologies provide to drive business strategy and priorities of our customers. Own and Strengthen the relations with C-level technology, innovation executives and technology decision makers.

Furthermore, the successful CTL would be able to:

  • Own and manage the relations with C-Level technology and innovation executives. Inspire and ideate with customers to transform their business capabilities and accelerate innovation through technology enablement.  Act as digital transformation / innovation thought leader. Reimagine the role of technology as a business and innovation partner to support digital transformation partnership between the customer and Microsoft.
  • Understand the business challenges and customer business outcomes to build the technology strategy and business/enterprise architecture covering customer-specific, cross-solution technology architecture and solution roadmaps mapped to their specific business needs/priorities, Industry Priority Scenarios (IPS) and solution areas.
  • Orchestrate Technology Sales initiatives in Industry Priority Scenarios, Industry Clouds, Cross-Solution Area opportunities and Prioritized Strategic Sales Plays. Build Technology Strategy for customers as the Technology Advisor & Strategist and motivate/inspire all technology resources involved in delivering the customer’s desired outcome.
  • Personally, commit to generate and protect Microsoft trust by modeling integrity every day and contributing to ethical sales and sustainable growth.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

* All candidates must offer proven and demonstrable technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure as the role will partner the growth into various automotive customer accounts

* Strong background in digital transformation and guiding from technical perspective customers through their journey, or using technology to drive customer business outcomes

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND strong technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience

o   OR equivalent experience.

 

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

· Relevant Automative and/or Manufacturing customer Industry is preferred but not essential
