Purpose:
Osgoode Professional Development is a revenue-generating unit and is the lifelong learning arm of Osgoode Hall Law School with a unique, broad, and flexible range of interdisciplinary graduate-level education to professionals with or without law degrees. The Client Services Representative is accountable for responding to inquiries and being a welcoming knowledgeable first point of contact for OsgoodePD and its products and programs. This position requires a strong commitment to engaging and fostering relationships with clients and understanding their needs to optimize interactions.
Education:
High school diploma with administrative and/or customer service training.
Experience:
Two (2) years of directly related and recent experience working in a high volume, professional client service-oriented environment along with demonstrated experience working with a customer relationship management system, answering in-person, email, and telephone enquiries, and providing information on programs. Experience in a professional school, academic or law firm environment is preferred. Additional formal training in any of the following areas (typing, word processing, data entry, databases, and customer service) are assets.
Skills:
Typing 45 wpm, accuracy essential.
Intermediate skills in the following computer applications are required, MS Office suite applications and a customer relationship management system.
Excellent written and oral communication.
Effective active listening skills.
Ability to provide information in a clear and concise manner.
Excellent customer service skills and sound judgement relating to customer service and customer relationships.
Ability to deal professionally, courteously, and effectively exercising tact and diplomacy while interacting with a diverse clientele.

Ability to establish priorities and work effectively under pressure of high volume and constants interruptions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a high performing team.
