Civil Engineering contractor having secured new project in the Cornwall region are looking for a Foreman/Manager with highway capital works project experience. This is a very long term contract assignment starting ASAP.

Duties will include, but not be restricted to coordinating the on site construction processes and supervision of the on-site workforce to ensure exemplary work practices are upheld. This role will require a good level of technical knowledge, organisational and management skills. CSCS, SMSTS or SSSTS and first Aid are basic requirements for the role.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a background of highway contracts including major earthworks and concrete structures in a Foreman/ Supervisor or Management role, having undertaken similar projects of significant value from contract start through to completion. The selected person will be a key member of the management team and successful integration will lead to opportunities for further personal development and the possibility of permanent employment if desired.

Day rate will be highly competitive and in line with expectations associated with a contractor of high regard. This is a chance to work with a highly desirable contractor.
