What will you do?

Reporting to the Lead Civil Engineer, you will work closely with civil engineers and architectural designers to undertake review of civil engineering design and undertaking site design drafting, under guidance, across a number of existing and proposed Ryman Retirement Village projects in Victoria, Australia.

This role will coordinate with development, architectural design teams, Quantity Surveyors (QS) and Contract Administrators, and site-based construction teams, as well as external professional services consultants (e.g. civil engineers, structural engineers, landscape designers).

You will:

• Undertake drafting in a variety of programmes including AUTOCAD and REVIT across multiple Ryman Project Sites in Australia.
• Communicate and coordinate civil engineering, hardscape, retaining wall and general land development designs with internal and external stakeholders, under guidance.
• Provide advice on finished surface grading models, stormwater designs (completed externally) and their coordination with single and multi-story structures.

Who are you?

• You have proven experience in civil engineering and/or architectural design drawing production, complete drawings presentation and issuance in a construction support, staged and constantly evolving environment.
• You have in-depth understanding of drawing presentation and organisation in REVIT and AutoCAD. Experience in other Autodesk products such as Civil3D (or 12D) and BIM360 would also be desirable.
• You have knowledge of master grading design of land development and multi-story building environments to strict gradient requirements
• You have a general understanding of civil engineering technical design.
• Be capable of producing high quality technical drawings in a constantly evolving environment.
• You have a flexible and adaptable approach when it comes to continuous improvement and change and be motivated by it!
