Description

We are currently working with an early stage business that is looking for a potential successor within their finance function.

Given the tight-knit nature of the team, and the amount of time the current individual has been involved with the company, they are approaching the role as a temporary to potential permanent hiring solution, in order to ensure all parties are happy with the eventual situation. The business is approaching an exciting period of change and growth, which will require a collaborative effort with the existing team in place.

Some of the responsibilities this individual will have are as follows:

• Financial reporting
• M& A
• Treasury and equity management
• Corporate secretarial duties
• Financing and fund-raising
• Budgeting, forecasting and re-forecasting
• Develop accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
• Oversee HR, admin, IT and data security

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
• CPA designation
• Demonstrate proficiency with accounting software and other computer software
• Must be able to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment with excellent written and verbal skill
• Prior experience in a management position within a public listed business
• Experience adhering to IFRS
