This role is situated within the Customer Growth Team within the Consumer Group. The team looks after performance across all of Sky’s products, Loyalty (rewarding our customers) and partnerships, Retail (our Sky stores), Trading and how we effectively lead and communicate with our customer base.

What you’ll do:

– Lead a variety of cross functional changes or initiatives within any given project, at any stage of the lifecycle
– Delivery of the changes to time, cost & quality. This will involve supporting with initial scoping, cost, resource and duration estimation of changes and working with the relevant delivery teams and partners to deliver.
– Contribute to the recommended approach required to support strategic transformation initiatives or change projects
– Translation of recommendations into a defined and manageable scope, communicated and agreed by all partners, supported with clear business benefits (business case)
– Management of virtual teams
– Clear and effective project controls implemented (i.e benefits, scope documents, plans, RAID logs), with progress driven forward/communicated and escalations to the wider project/programme delivered as Improving governance for workstream meetings and steering groups
– Effective partner management up to Head of Department, raising as required.
– Ownership of change management (ensuring that the business area is ready for the change to be adopted), for the new product/capability/process introduction

What you’ll bring:

– Partner engagement ability- the ability to influence partners at all levels with the ability to quickly develop a strong network of contacts
– You will have a “can do” attitude with strong resilience, be able to bounce back quickly from set-backs and suggest alternative plans. Alongside an advanced analytical ability and the confidence to challenge appropriately.
– Previous experience of working in a fast paced, dynamic environment such as FTSE 100/250 or equivalent. (Media or Telecoms experience would be advantageous)
– Experience of managing projects in either a consulting or large blue chip, complex organisation with awareness of different project methodologies (desirable)
