A bit about the job:

You will lead a small team of Change Consultants, overseeing multiple project workstreams to ensure that we not only consistently improve our customers’ insurance claim journey, but also deliver market leading indemnity performance. This will be done via analysing customer demand, and then recognising & then resolving any pain-points, driving improved customer and cost outcomes during the property claims process. Success will be achieved through motivating your team, ensuring they are fully engaged, and performance is high, as well as managing key stakeholder relationships, to ensure the wider business is on-board with your vision plus the best suppliers are sourced and used.

Aviva introduced “smart-working” in 2020 and encourage flexible working; however, the successful post-holder will need to be based a commutable distance from either our Perth, Glasgow, Norwich, York, Bristol, Sheffield, or Eastleigh offices.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• You will have a breadth of experience across change delivery and process improvement, with exceptional project management experience. This can be from a range of industries, but having prior claims experience would be advantageous (i.e., Insurance sector experience)

• Excellent line management experience, with the ability to use your leadership skills to motivate and develop a team  

• Prior experience dealing with change frameworks, showcasing agility when working across multiple workstreams 

• Tenacious, yet curious nature, with strong problem solving and organisational skills

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence up to C-suite level

What you’ll get for this role:

• Annual salary of £55,000 to £65,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
