Role Overview

As a Control Room Operator at G4S, you’ll ensure the safety of our customers staff, their buildings and assets, through ensuring continuous and effective security surveillance. Working with the security operation on the ground, you will be in communication to ensure security is maintained across our customer sites. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.

It’s a varied role and critical to our security operation, ensuring compliance to the required security protocols and liaising with internal security teams and appointed third parties / emergency services when required. You will have an eye for detail and the ability to interact with people. This position will follow a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, days and nights. Full flexibility required to work Monday to Sunday. 

The Ideal Candidate

You will need to be aged 18 or over with your SIA licence experience in the security industry. Ideally you will have experience of CCTV and hold the relevant licence, however this is not essential as we will put you through the required training. You must have an understanding of IT with a working knowledge of Word, Office and Excel. You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include days, nights and weekends.
