As a Category Planning Assistant, you will support in the execution of George Home brand communications to tell customers about our fantastic product ranges. Through partnering with our traders, George brand and corporate marketing teams, you'll ensure that we understand our customers' needs and assist in the execution of marketing activity in order to drive sales.   

The Role 

As the Category Planning Assistant, you will support the end to end process for marketing campaigns along with the Asda and George brand teams - everything from organising samples for photography shoots, product nominations thorough to creative/media sign offs. 

You will be responsible for managing and executing best in class Point of Sale (POS) solutions in line with George Home brand guidelines and you will support the trading teams with market insight and regular competitor updates to maintain competitive advantage.  You will conduct project co-ordination of marketing walkarounds, showcases, PR shows and conferences and you will support on improving customer experience through trial stores initiatives. You will also be responsible  for the marketing budget management for TPA and supplier monetisation
