Join us as a Cashier

  • Joining us in Private Clients, we’ll look to you to deliver excellent service to our customers, keeping their needs and financial goals in mind at all times
  • Specialising in Counter Banking Services, you’ll be educating customers in the different ways they can do their banking and supporting them in choosing the options that work best for them
  • We’re looking for a detail-orientated individual to complete processes and procedures, while providing the customer with a seamless experience

What you'll do

In this role, you’ll be applying your customer service expertise when dealing with and referring customer queries. As a Cashier, we’ll count on you to exceed customer expectations through quality and timeliness of service and by providing an excellent experience at the first point of contact.

As part of a front of house team, you’ll be providing assistance for a wide array of clients in this engaging and varied role. You’ll retain client loyalty by ensuring a bespoke and engaging experience for every client you interact with.

You’ll also be:

  • Handling Sterling, Euro and various foreign currencies
  • Liaising regularly with foreign currency suppliers to make sure all clients’ currency requests are fulfilled
  • Supporting the financial planning business by producing accurate management information and accounts
  • Improving processes and procedures to maximise customer satisfaction and efficiency

The skills you'll need

To join us in this role, you’ll have experience of working in the financial service industry and delivering to deadlines. You’ll also be able to creatively solve problems while supporting your regulated sales team. Along with experience in cashiering, you'll also have good interpersonal and communication skills, paired with a passion for delivering an outstanding service to our clients.

We’re also looking for you to demonstrate:

  • Knowledge and experience of working in a frontline job
  • The ability to prioritise work and achieve quality results while maintaining high levels of detail
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of regulation and compliance, including data protection, money laundering and the FCA
