KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing the highest level of customer service and approaching every customer with professionalism and care
• Handling payments by cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit
• Using electronic scanners, cash register, POS and computers
• Giving receipts, refunds, credits and assisting customers
• Staying up to date with current promotions and specials
• Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles

REQUIREMENTS

• Availability required Monday to Saturday for 40hrs/week
• Store Hours are Mon-Fri 8:00-5:30 and Sat 9:00-5:00
• Saturdays are mandatory for this position
• Minimum 1-2 years in retail and/or cashier experience
• Completion of Grade 12, basic math skills, strong command of written & spoken English
• Experience in high-volume retail will be an asset
• Must be able to spend extended periods of time standing and able to lift, pull, and push up to and including 25 pounds
• Must agree to the completion of criminal record check conducted by Summit Tools
• Potential candidates must be highly motivated, outgoing, confident and articulate.
