The Infrastructure and Project Finance team helps public and private sector clients finance, deliver and operate projects in a cost effective and efficient fashion. As part of our team, you’ll help our client with procurement strategies, project structuring, financing and negotiations.

Purpose-led work you’ll be part of
As a Capital Projects and Infrastructure Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analyzing infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, water/wastewater, district energy systems, hospitals, prisons, airports, schools, defense systems, and ports to determine the best way to finance and procure them for the public sector
- Developing and revising financial models and Excel models
- Conducting financial market research and due diligence review of infrastructure projects and investments
- Participating in writing reports and information memorandums, research, and industry papers
- Assisting in the preparation of business cases, proposals, presentations, and contributing to business development
- Completing government policy reviews concerning procurement strategy, advising government departmental officials, and demonstrating thought leadership
- Performing analysis of project finance structures, instruments, and pricing
- Assisting public sector clients with the divestiture or refinancing of infrastructure assets
- Drafting and reviewing procurement documents, schedules, and precedent project benchmarking
- Advising on alternative financing and other innovative transaction structures, and ensuring they attain the right balance of risk transfer and bankability
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
- Business experience in infrastructure, and project finance
- Excellent communication and business writing skills
- Solid financial and general excel modeling skills
- Experience in the roads, transportation, buildings, and energy infrastructure is an asset
- Experience with public private partnership (P3) or other innovate procurement models for the delivery of public infrastructure is an asset
- Federal public sector knowledge (understanding of federal government agencies and departments)
- Strong proficiency in working with procurement documents (RFQ, RFP, and Project Agreements); and procurement models (traditional, alternative, innovative)
- A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
