The Capital Project Services team advises governments and businesses in the delivery of complex capital projects and programs. As part of our team, you\'ll provide expertise to clients on the design and delivery of transformative projects, program and commercial management approaches, and optimization of capital programs while ensuring project success, within constrained budgets or through challenging situations. You will work across many sectors providing services across the project life cycle from project feasibility, governance, infrastructure and procurement, construction readiness, project execution and readiness for operations.

Purpose-led work you’ll be part of

As a Capital Projects and Infrastructure Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Participate in developing, reviewing and revising financial models
• Carry out studies of infrastructure markets and related financial markets and infrastructure sub-industries; including support public and private clients assessing sustainable and/or resilient infrastructure
• Perform industry research on, in particular, sustainable infrastructure, energy transition and clean technologies 
• Participate in writing reports and confidential information memorandums
• Assist in developing business opportunities for the Capital Projects & Infrastructure practice 
• Assists in the preparation of proposals for certain projects
• Assists in the preparation of pitch decks and market coverage materials
• Assists with providing financial advisory services to First Nations, Inuit and local stakeholders
• Assists on global cross line of service initiatives including on global energy transition and sustainable infrastructure initiatives as well as on mandates with the United Nations and/or the World Bank

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

• Able to work independently; comfortable in ambiguous, fluid situations and working in scenarios where prior \"templates\" do not exist
• Interest in acquiring and developing skills with financial modeling of infrastructure projects
• Familiar with financial statements and manner in which items across Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash flow statements operate and are linked
• Familiarity with forecasting and/or free cash flow analyses desired 
• Willingness to learn Bloomberg, CapIQ, InfraDeals platforms
• Interest in obtaining a professional financial designation (e.g. CBV or CFA or CPA) would be an asset
• Open to travel and ability to work in multiple languages would be an asset (particularly in French)
• A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
