Responsibilities

•Understanding business and technical requirements and constraints, and leading and driving the effort to translate those requirements into strategic marketing solutions

• Supporting the roll-out and adoption of new marketing technology platforms, features and capabilities, translating what’s new to improve marketing campaign configuration and delivery leveraging the best of our marketing technologies

• Understand and evaluate existing marketing technologies, identify gaps or opportunities to improve current features and capabilities to make key improvements, including understanding the needs of the business and translating those needs into documented requirements

• Consulting on complex usage of the marketing automation platform (MAP)

• Actively participating in team triage and planning sessions, acting as the lead to provide a capability analysis breaking down the specifics of what’s required to deliver

• Collaborating and partnering deeply across multiple teams and disciplines

• Helping to ramp up, train, support, and mentor marketing technologists and vendor scale teams, including best practices sharing across similar teams within Microsoft

• Staying up to date on trends and technology in the technical marketing landscape

• Align campaign build process to ensure programs have campaign tracking and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ambitious self-starter, eager to dive right in and optimize the platform

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to distill complex topics for

• Demonstrated expert skills in troubleshooting, analysis, and logic • Experience in a B2B marketing role focused on solutions and executing marketing campaigns, post-sales relationship marketing experience a plus

• Demonstrated skills in some form of technology (i.e., coding / database technology etc.)

• Passion to improve process, streamline technology, and improve performance

• Strong data evaluation skills, with ability to extract and interpret data

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Bonus

• Three or more years using Adobe, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar marketing automation platforms

• Adobe ACS or AEM certification a major plus
