What’s the role about?
To support lead division/s to optimise its marketing communications programme through the provision of campaign management support and customer insight
This is a great role for someone wanting to develop their customer data marketing and SFMC skills. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inform decision making at a high level and really drive through changes to Marketing Strategy.

What you’ll be doing as a campaign analyst:
Support Financial Services division to achieve their goals and objectives through the effective design and delivery of customer insight led marketing communications.
You will collaborate with the wider CRM & Loyalty team as well as multiple stakeholders across the business to deliver a CRM campaign calendar including trigger based emails, life-cycle programmes, planned and reactive marketing emails, and member rewards and benefits.
Extracting data using a DE select/CI 360 platform. SQL skills will be required to edit or create large data extracts.
As a Campaign Analyst, you will be fundamental to the success of the CRM team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development and delivery of all CRM communications for John Lewis across email and push notifications.
Key Responsibilities include:
Proactively provide advice and guidance on approaches to segmentation, offer strategies, test and learn opportunities, data capture and ability to report return on investment.
Develop segmentation's to meet commercial goals and objectives
Deliver campaign extracts accurately and on time.
Proactively manage and deliver standard requirements for internal CRM stakeholders.
To write SAS/SQL code in an accurate and efficient way to save processing time.
Document all code and maintain accurate and up to date version control methodologies.
Develop in depth understanding of clients commercial goals and objectives, proactively identify how customer analytics and insight can support these.
What you’ll have:
Marketing/Business related degree.
Capable user of SFMC/SQL/Excel.
Solid experience in designing, targeting and managing complex dynamic Email, DM campaigns, working with email service providers, data teams and fulfilment houses.
Experience using a top tier email service provider, proficient building, proofing, deploying and monitoring emails within the platform.
CRM experience working on a high profile multi-channel consumer brand with a sizeable customer database.
Ability to balance between customer insights and commercial outcomes.
What else you could bring:
Proven experience in database segmentation and campaign management.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is desirable but other equivalent ESP experience will be considered.
Experience within a fast based industry, e.g. Retail, FMCG, Financial services.
Consultancy skills.
Execution experience using personalisation/recommendations tools.
AMP scripting - intermediate to advanced (desirable).
Good understanding of driving omnichannel customer behaviour.
Previous financial services and digital marketing experience.
