Key Responsibilities

In this role you will:

• Manage a series of Aftermarket programmes, with total BoM (Bill of Materials) ownership.

• Liaising with production controllers, buyers, programme managers, Account Managers to enable OTIF of critical programmes through our Aftermarket business.

• Involved in supplier selection for optimum ‘right part with right supplier’, leveraging key stakeholders including suppliers and engineering, whilst maintaining Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD).

• Work with account managers and commodity managers on supplier strategy in-line with VS requirements

• Timely problem resolution of obsolescence, drawing issues and management of concessions, drawing changes.

• Facilitate stakeholder reviews and action outcomes supporting programmes requirements.

Skills & Experience:

• CIPS qualification or equivalent supply chain qualification is ideal

• Project management experience/ methodology

• Understanding of business processes with a high degree of commercial acumen.

• Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally at all levels.

• Competent in collating and presenting programme status reviews.

• Action focused, driven to deliver concrete and sustainable results.

• Candidates must be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering KPI improvement in an aerospace environment, working either independently or as part of a multifunctional team

• Engineering knowledge/exposure is highly desirable

• Procurement experience in Aerospace / Automotive including machining, electronics and/or distributed products
