About the team
The Strategy and Business Transformation team is an energetic, highly engaged team that work in an agile environment to support the business delivering continuous improvement initiatives. We are slowly starting to transition back to the office (twice a week) and require a leader that can proactively assess opportunities and undertake options analysis to present back to the business.
The opportunity
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Business Transformation Manager. Reporting to the Sr Manager Strategy & Business Transformation, you will support the delivery of cohesive strategy and associated transformation and continual improvement initiatives to our business partners that ensure they are agile, future focused, delivering to shifting expectations of our stakeholders, customers and communities and meeting strategic objectives. You will work closely with our key business partners to understand and unpack their business problems, identify solutions and create insights through quantitative and qualitative analysis, and help to mobilise projects to action.
About you
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the machinery of government, the policy process and the relevant statutory requirements
Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with proven success at a senior management level
Strong stakeholder management, engagement and relationship skills, including the ability to work in partnership with stakeholders and influence senior executives
Demonstrated high level relationship management, communication, presentation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills and experience
Structured problem solving, strategic formulation, influence and leadership, effective and simple communication
Agile project management experience and working within an Agile team and other teams across the organisation
Capacity to successfully juggle multiple deliverables and complex issues, in a busy and evolving delivery environment
You will understand the challenges and opportunities of working within a matrix-based organisation, and of collaborating with multiple deployed teams
You will be an inclusive and persuasive communicator
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience
