The Nucleus programme will revolutionise Vodafone’s Data and Analytics (D&A) capability by building a common data model and platform in the Google Cloud.  

 

A core element of the Programme is the design and implementation of a Target Operating Model (TOM) which will allow the seamless operation of business intelligence and analytics across Vodafone, in partnership with Vodafone Shared Services (VSS) and local markets.  The TOM defines the new ways of working across functions in support of Nucleus, with reference to the following:  Organisation, roles and responsibilities; IT systems; standard D&A products; management of localisations; operating procedures and training; business policy, principles and rules; process measures; compliance and controls. 

 

The Business Transformation Lead plays a pivotal role in the Nucleus Programme, supporting the design and implementation of the TOM.

You will

  • Drives operating model design and execution with a focus on the business and achieving outcomes versus just managing a plan 
  • Works across stakeholders (such as technology operations) to ensure requirements are reflected appropriately in the capabilities, governance and organisation of the target operating model 
  • Provides leadership and management guidance which support the D&A strategy and core values of the organisation 
  • Acts as a change champion and engages the business to shift to the new way of doing things 
  • Helps resolve and make final decisions on significant programme related issues escalated 

 

You must have

  • Strong Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, JIRA skills 
  • Some experience in a project environment 
  • University degree in Finance, Management or Technology area is an advantage 
  • Knowledge of Agile and SAFe ways of working, DevOps and design thinking preferred 
  • Solid understanding of business and technology operating models plus familiarity with Agile and SAFe ways of working  
  • Strong project management skills across business and technology, including experience with large programmes 
  • Comfortable to challenge the status quo 
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills and ability to balance conflicting needs 
  • Ability to network with and influence stakeholders across the organisation, including senior management.
