Role Overview:
Our Global Markets Belfast team are recruiting for an experienced Business Risk Senior Analyst at Assistant Vice President level.
The successful candidate ideally would be from a Risk, Compliance, Audit or regulatory background to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform weekly Regulatory Identification/tracking, ensuring communication and follow up with the necessary Markets SMEs
Participate in the UK, EU and EEA regulatory governance forums and sub working groups managing emerging risks on behalf of markets
Support governance and reporting to assessment units of pending/overdue mapping items
Proactively identify emerging risks/issues and ensure appropriate escalation and tracking
Liaise with business and line control officers on any deficiencies or control gaps as well as ensuring appropriate remedial actions are in place where deficiencies are identified
Develop an understanding of Compliance Risk Management Tools and help to ensure compliance with Citi’s Risk & Control Framework
Assist in the delivery of requests for information from Internal Audit, ICRM etc.
Assist with other adhoc tasks in connection with the role but not detailed in the current job description, charged by the direct manager, supervisor, or the functional head.
Key Competencies/Skills:
Experience in working with the various risk and control systems and reporting requirements advantageous but not essential.
Detail orientated
Self-motivated
Strong organization skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
