Role Overview:

Our Global Markets Belfast team are recruiting for an experienced Business Risk Senior Analyst at Assistant Vice President level.

The successful candidate ideally would be from a Risk, Compliance, Audit or regulatory background to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform weekly Regulatory Identification/tracking, ensuring communication and follow up with the necessary Markets SMEs

• Participate in the UK, EU and EEA regulatory governance forums and sub working groups managing emerging risks on behalf of markets

• Support governance and reporting to assessment units of pending/overdue mapping items

• Proactively identify emerging risks/issues and ensure appropriate escalation and tracking

• Liaise with business and line control officers on any deficiencies or control gaps as well as ensuring appropriate remedial actions are in place where deficiencies are identified

• Develop an understanding of Compliance Risk Management Tools and help to ensure compliance with Citi’s Risk & Control Framework

• Assist in the delivery of requests for information from Internal Audit, ICRM etc.

• Assist with other adhoc tasks in connection with the role but not detailed in the current job description, charged by the direct manager, supervisor, or the functional head.

Key Competencies/Skills:

• Experience in working with the various risk and control systems and reporting requirements advantageous but not essential.

• Detail orientated

• Self-motivated

• Strong organization skills

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
