Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Experience as a category, channel, or operations manager, or related experience in Consumer Products, Retail, eCommerce
• Experience in project and partner management, overseeing cross-functional projects
• Experience resolving operational issues within retail network

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with SQL queries, scripts, and/or advanced spreadsheets
• Experience managing retail metrics and reporting
• Experience managing logistics and/or supply chains for retail or consumer products
• Experience in gift card operations

About the job

As a Business Operations Manager for the Google Play Retail and Payments Activation team, you will be responsible for driving projects and programs to grow the EMEA gift card business, and managing ongoing operations to sustain our business. You will serve as the hub for cross-functional internal and external partners, spanning sales, engineering, finance, legal and suppliers, to maintain product availability and to launch new programs and products across EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Manage gift card demand planning, inventory management, product fulfillment, and unit forecasting for the EMEA region.
• Develop and drive project plans across internal and external partners to ensure timely launches for new products, new markets, and new programs. Partner with regional leads to prioritize market initiatives.
• Coordinate and execute operational strategy through external distribution partners.
• Diagnose and resolve supply chain issues across external distribution networks as needed; drive process improvement and transformation projects to simplify operations and enhance business performance.
