As Business Manager, you will be working closely with the CEO and COO of BBC Studios Productions, providing effective business support to ensure the smooth running of Production HQ.

Role Responsibility

• Managing and maintaining a forward-looking calendar of key meetings and delivery-requirements’; ensuring timely awareness and preparation of BBCSP CEO and COO.
• Setting agendas and summarising actions for regular BBCSP executive and leadership forums.
• Ensuring BBCSP governance is appropriate, accurate and properly adhered to.
• Supporting the delivery of projects across BBCSP
• Monitor business objectives by coordinating with BBCSP senior team; monitoring and reporting progress regularly
• Work closely with business support functions and other key stakeholders across BBCS to ensure that BBCSP is effectively supported.
• Development and delivery of management information, ensuring these are accurate; appropriate in tone, content and format; and in line with BBCSP requirements.
• Development and effective management of relationships, with key stakeholders across the BBC

The Ideal Candidate

• Project management - Good organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage a heavy workload, tight deadlines and conflicting demands.
• Excellent collaborative skills and diplomacy, including working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communicator (verbal, written & listening) who is able to maintain critical thinking.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills
• IT skills – knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (in particular Excel for database management and PowerPoint for presentation creation).
• Able to maintain confidentiality
• Previous experience working in production (desirable)
