The Division
The Customer Strategy and Technology team within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.
The opportunity
Right now, we have an opportunity for a Business Intelligence Business Analyst to join the Business Intelligence Planning team.
This role plays a key role in defining incremental development, enhancement requirements and works with the business to identify and develop user friendly solutions. It leads the activities of defining cluster wide business intelligence reporting requirements in business terms and assists with defining the dimensional models or star schemas which support those requirements.
What you will be involved in
You will ensure that the analytics and reporting information requirements of the Transport cluster are captured, analysed, documented and delivered through optimal and sustainable solutions.
You will facilitate and lead stakeholder engagement in whatever format is required, providing clear communications to all parties and owning and driving decisions and outcomes.
You will develop strong and productive working relationships with stakeholders across the cluster.
You will lead and promote impetus for change across the cluster that supports both the vision for IT and a more structured approach to lifecycle management of data warehousing and business intelligence.
About you
You have experience documenting the requirements of the Business Intelligence lifecycle process.
You have experience working with various Business Intelligence platforms like Power BI, Tableau etc. in both leading and coordinating Business Intelligence projects.
You have excellent communication skills, are flexible, and possess the ability to adapt to a changing and sometimes uncertain environment. 
You can engage and collaborate with both customers and internal stakeholders and you’re able to keep up to date with priorities to ensure appropriate responses that are in alignment with strategic objectives.
Any exposure of cloud technologies in Business Intelligence space will be highly regarded.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is TfNSW Grade 9 ($138,670 - $155,309) per annum, plus superannuation and leave loading.
