About Finance and Investment (FID)
FID is a trusted advisor to the Transport cluster, and partners with our stakeholders to make all financial and funding considerations for our once-in-a-generation $72 billion infrastructure program.
We provide best in class financial services to support confident decision-making on transport services, infrastructure investment and delivery. FID plays a critical role in project planning and funding, enterprise planning and financial management and control.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Improvement Analyst to join us in the newly formed Continuous Improvement & Change Management team within FID.
Reporting to the Business Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for supporting business process and continuous improvement activities across the division.
Partnering with project managers, change managers and subject matter experts across the division, you will support the identification and scoping of business process improvements through stakeholder engagement, analysis and design in order to ensure delivery of agreed strategies.

About you
You have demonstrated experience working on business improvement projects including well-developed skills in process analysis and mapping, and a focus on innovation and process improvement.
You have an understanding of financial and technical concepts and the ability to translate these clearly for a variety of stakeholders.
You are a proactive and pragmatic problem solver, with a demonstrated knowledge of project lifecycle and data analytics principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Project, Visio and SharePoint
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Grade 7 ($103,965) – 7E ($116,441) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
