Join us as a Business Development Manager

• This senior, client facing role requires close collaboration with clients and business stakeholders in order to collect requirements and translate them into technical user stories for developers and data scientists.
• You’ll enjoy significant, senior stakeholder and client interaction across the organisation and industry, working closely with developers and testers to ensure they understand specifications for new dashboards, products and services.
• The work you do will ultimately help us drive the industry forward, improve investor protection and create a better experience for customers across the entire organisation.

What you'll do

• Working closely with clients, business, organisation and industry stakeholders, you’ll identify strategic and tactical opportunities to leverage data into commercial insights and products.
• You’ll support the client portfolio propositions in developing business data, ESG insights capabilities, business models, product lines and revenue streams. You’ll also design new analytical solutions which will involve the preparation of business cases, business requirements and proof of value where required.
• You’ll work across the bank to make sure that all new opportunities are prosecuted by the appropriate part of the organisation.
• Focusing initially on liquidity monitoring, benchmarking, Environmental Social and Governance (ESG), management information (MI) reporting, the successful candidate will quickly add to a significant product pipeline including advanced analytics, FX and many other Asset Management related opportunities.

In addition to this, you’ll:

• Promote the business area and win new business at industry and client events

• Update and add business rules related to client insights products, and update data requirements for client insights and analytical products, including ESG

• Switch on dashboard elements as per client requests

• Oversee the release of new data services and pipeline management

• Liaise with stakeholders regularly to ensure the business and client data needs are optimised

• Design and prototype new services and dashboards for clients and stakeholders.

• Manage a PowerBi Developer with responsibility for internal and external dashboard prototyping.

• Educate and train stakeholders on new products and services

    
The skills you'll need

You’ll need to demonstrate extensive experience in the market designing and delivering technical solutions, portfolio analytics, data insights, products and services within Financial Services, including ESG.

We’re also looking for:

• Experience of interviewing business stakeholders to collect requirements
• Experience of translating business requirements into technical features
• Knowledge of depositary ecosystem, as well as an in-depth understanding of liquidity monitoring, benchmarking, ESG and MI reporting
• Knowledge of the asset management business
