Robert Half is searching for an energetic Controller to join a reputable global organization. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Finance Professional to join a company where they can add their expertise to an evolving finance team. As a key member of the local management team, this position plays a integral role in ensuring that time sensitive finance information is executed and reported in a highly efficient and accurate manner. This position also supports the business unit's leadership team in achieveing its objectives by providing indepth financial insight and support as well as making proposals for improvement actions.

Knowledge you need:

• Comprehensive understanding of business systems, control procedures, cash management, and reporting
• High level computer skills - MS office products - Advanced Excel
• Ability to work with multiple demands an deadlines, able to prioritize work
• In depth knowledge and experience with accounting/ERP systems, BI Tools

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for business control for assigned legal entities (Canada, US, Mexico & South America) acting as the main point of contact to the GM, Finance Director, Corporate Controllers, Sales & Operations Managers
• Conduct monthly and quarterly margin and inventory account reconciliations and analysis and account review to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Reporting and communication of month end financial information and tx positions using MS Navision, Exsion, and MS Excel,.
• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies, variances from budget/forecast, and other issues that should be brought to management's attention.
• Coordinate the preparation of budgets and forecast
• Collaborate with other senior leaders and stakeholders within to organization to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function, systems and controls

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• 5+ years experience in a similar role
• CPA Designation
• Asset - background in international/multinational; agricultural; production and/or distribution environment
