Responsibilities
In this customer facing role, you will interact regularly with internal and external stakeholders, with some of your key responsibilities being:
- Gathering customer insights from a range of stakeholders to shape and influence both the definition and ongoing delivery of projects.
- Proposing and developing new solutions to scale across multiple customers.
- Using insights to influence long-term technology strategy and challenging executive decision-makers to focus and adapt their business models, plans and solutions.
- Working in close collaboration with the Project Manager and Account Team to anticipate, identify, categorise, and communicate business and technical risks.
- Using a business-value approach that identifies return on investment (ROI) and customer costs-savings over technical ease of execution.
- Developing a network of internal and external senior-level decision makers to build influence in addressing problems and blockers
- Oversight, governance and establishment of quality practices and standards to realize the business solution for large projects.
- Promoting the adoption of Microsoft solutions technologies based on insight to all major customer projects, understanding competitor solutions, and how customer business value can be driven through Microsoft's offerings
- Provides end-to-end governance, oversight, and thought leadership on assigned accounts and projects.
- Acting as a mentor to junior colleagues by educating them on technical and non-technical concepts and sharing best practices.

Qualifications
An experienced Solutions Architect who regularly interacts with business stakeholders within large enterprise organisations, some of the key skills that will position you for success in this role include:
- Demonstrable experience in business systems architecture, consulting, or delivering technology solutions, ideally within the Telecommunications sector
- Demonstrable knowledge of at least one of the following technologies – BSS, OSS, Data Fabric, CX management, Touchless Telcos, 5G MEC and other edge cloud use cases and business cases,
- A background working for, or with, enterprise scale global organisations
- Pre-sales or consulting experience.
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
