Adecco Public Sector is working exclusively with an organisation in North East London, which are embarking on an exciting journey to redefine how data is used in the NHS. The aim of the investment is to advance local capabilities, accelerate digital maturity and drive system-wide digital transformation.

 The organisation has set out to develop an ambitious digital transformation programme that will provide a step-change in local service provision and improve our ways of working, for both users and staff. You, the Business Analyst, will be directly involved in a variety of IT / Data based projects that will eventually lead to working an environment that harnesses Artificial Intelligence. Business Analyst - Primary Responsibilities As a Business Analyst, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic analytical community supporting managers and staff across all of ELHCP to deliver high-quality solutions to improve patient outcomes. You will be expected to tease out business requirements and document them in sufficient detail for developers to be able to build a solution.

 You will be expected to ensure/test the output meets the customer requirements before handing it over to the business users and the solution meets our visual standards and solution quality but more importantly meets the original requirements that have been captured. You will be expected to analyse business problems across a range of data sets and scenarios and document the resulting information management and technology requirements to support technology-enabled change. 

You will be expected to be the first point of contact on issues relating to the design and requirements. You will be expected to work as a liaison among stakeholders to engage, elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. You will be expected to understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and will recommend solutions that enable the organisation to achieve its goals. Capture highly complex, sensitive or contentious information as part of developing business case proposals and persuading project boards or others of the importance of any specific piece of work. 

Management of a broad range of stakeholders. Understands the divergences in attitudes and cultures of a range of stakeholders and finds a balance between building rapport and producing key deliverable Influencing and persuading others to take a specific course of action by influencing key decision-makers and building consensus across diverse stakeholders on project delivery. Effectively influences external partners/stakeholders using all available information appropriately to guide decisions and negotiations to meet objectives, while maintaining relationships, acting with integrity and supporting consensus.

 Proven experience and ability to negotiate successfully with others to gain mutually beneficial results by presenting interests in ways that foster the understanding and resolution of problems. Proven ability to seek to understand others interests yet question and counter others proposals without damaging relationships. Strong experience in using various approaches to address needs or resolve whilst balancing win/win solutions or mutually agreeable trade-offs. 

Communicate the value of such change and overcome resistance to change. Experience Required - Some or all of Subject matter expertise across a number of key areas relating to business analysis Experience in taking a strategic lead in capturing business needs and the impact on their programme area. Experience in working on IT or Data based projects Evidence of post-qualifying and continuing professional development Demonstrable senior business analysis experience Management of requirements and specifications Excellent stakeholder management skills. Ability to work to tight and often changing timescales Ability to plan over short, medium and long-term time frames and adjust plans and resource requirements accordingly. Abilities to manage own workload and make informed decisions in the absence of required information, working to tight and often changing timescales.
