About the Team

The Safety, Environment and Regulation division upholds safety and sustainability in our transport system. We’re working to deliver globally-recognised, safe, sustainable transport for our people, customers and the community.

Within SER we have Regulatory Operations including the Customer Performance and Improvement Directorate which is currently where the Program Delivery team sit, overseeing projects delivery acting as the conduit between the business and the various stakeholders particularly IT to ensure the appropriate and successful delivery of projects.

The opportunity

Right now, we have an opportunity for a Business Analyst who is responsible for providing analysis and documenting business processes, systems, and other functional requirements to facilitate improvement and support the efficient delivery of business operations and performance in line with strategic objectives and key business priorities.

About you

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills, as you will be liaising with multiple stakeholders continuously advising, facilitating, interpreting and negotiating requirements, ensuring the best solutions and the efficient delivery of projects to the business.

Your business analysis skills gained in a delivery environment will equip you well, as will your ability to present and run workshops, gather requirements and prepare customer journey maps.

To be successful in this role you will be agile and a problem solver with the ability to think critically and logically, particularly when looking at processes and improving them wherever possible.

This is an exciting role where you are able to use your talents across a variety of areas of the business, maximising efficiencies by liaising with relevant stakeholders and delivering desired outcomes.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Transport Grade 8 ($120,423 - $134,872) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
