Job Description
The successful candidate for this role will join the IT, Projects, Digital & Innovation team - a team where we believe people are our most valuable resource. We believe in efficiency and value creation, looking for the right person with the right fit to help us work with cross functional teams to understand, analyse and document their processes.
This role is based out of our Perth Airport Office which offers free on-site parking and an inclusive culture, with an opportunity to work flexibly. Depending on your experience and skills, the remuneration for this role is $80K pa + Super.
In this role you will
Identify & take ownership of initiatives end to end, collaborating efficiently and directly with key stakeholders;
Assist the business during transition and change activities by being on the ground to highlight potential issues and work with them to resolve these;
Gather, validate and document detailed business requirements;
Drive, monitor and track progress of allocated initiatives and projects;
Lead problem solving workshops and formulate business cases and proposals.
This role requires a detailed approach with focus on specific projects at a time, working closely with members across the organisation to identify 'what is' and establish & implement 'what should be'.
Qualifications
We are seeking a self-driven, passionate individual who is curious and excited by change. The role will require;
Experience in a similar role, with demonstrable successful initiatives;
An ability to communicate and influence at all levels of an organisation;
A desire to get into the detail of one/two initiatives at a time;
Strong IT knowledge - solutions will ultimately go to the development team, however a good ability to discuss IT solutions with both the business and IT team is imperative;
Understanding of Laboratory environments - opportunities will be set in a minerals laboratory setting so an understanding of their operations is ideal;
A customer-centric disposition aimed and solving business problems in an innovative manner.
