Your new role
In your new role you will liaise with stakeholders in order to obtain, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and effect solutions that enable the business customer to achieve their goals.
- Build strong relationships through engagement with customers, colleagues and other key stakeholders across all stages of the system development life cycle.
- Lead the articulation of business needs and the facilitation of business and system solutions.
- Lead the compilation and/or validation of system requirements and process documentation to ensure feasibility and traceability of requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and design sessions using the appropriate methodologies and frameworks (including Agile development).
- Validate and ensure that Solution deliverables meet business needs.
- Participate in the development of design documents, design reviews and analysis of functional changes to systems.
- Communicate collaboratively throughout the design and costing process with technical stakeholders as part of managing expectations for business and solution "customers".
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years' experience in a business/system analyst role (Mandatory)
- Previous experience in Insurance and/or financial services
- Track record of working in a fast-paced collaborative cross-functional environment (preferred)
- A disciplined approach to planning, implementation and project execution
- Knowledge of system development life cycle and project management practices.
- Knowledge of Business Process Modelling and associated tools
- Previous experience working on regulatory projects.
- Understanding of Agile development practices and advanced in facilitation workshops while engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
