Location:   Port Melbourne or Homebush, Sydney

We have a new opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our Group IT, Delivery team, where you will work closely with customers, IT functions and key stakeholders to analyse and delivery solution requests.   

Your key focus will be to support the delivery of small and/or minor changes to existing IT solutions for existing Global Logistics business with the objective of delivering these efficiently and effectively.

As Business Analyst, you will be accountable for:

  • Analysis and delivery of process and technology solutions in the Warehouse Management (WMS) domain.
  • Utilise appropriate methods and tools to perform business analysis and deliver project outcomes.  
  • Develop stakeholder relationships to ensure collaboration throughout the project lifecycle; ensure ongoing engagement to manage expectations.
  • Lead, support and manage business analysis during the entire project lifecycle; provide input and develop business and functional requirements; identify IT and operational dependencies and assumptions.
  • Evaluate end to end requirements for initiatives, including process, cost-benefit analysis, and solution options. Verify and validate at all levels of the business.

Qualifications

To ensure your success in this role, you will need to possess:

  • 5+ years’ experience working as a Business Analyst, on mid to large solution delivery projects.
  • 2-3 years’ experience leading delivery of small projects from requirements to closure.
  • Experience with techniques such as use case analysis, process flow diagramming, process mapping and detailed business requirements.
  • Thorough understanding of project management lifecycles, disciplines, and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and working knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and warehousing platforms – experience across Blue Yonder, JDA, Dispatcher highly advantageous.

Qualifications – Education and/or professional

  • Tertiary education in business, supply chain, or a related discipline
  • IIBA Certification CBAP or comparable BA experience
  • PMI / Prince2 or equivalent desirable
