We are currently looking for a Business Analysts within our Global Express division. Reporting to the Business Analyst Lead, you will collaborate and engage with diverse stakeholders to ensure that the organisational objectives are understood trough the analysis and synthesis of information. Further you will ensure alignment with strategic planning, business model analysis, process design and systems analysis and directly engage with the direct team and business stakeholder’s ensuring business is always supported.

As the Business Analyst, you will be accountable for:

  • Setting priorities, assist in budgeting and plans to achieve overall unit strategy, goals and targets. Access, optimise and develop capability and systems.
  • Ensure business analysis approach, provide input, and develop the business case for a project by identifying the benefit associated with the project and determine the operational dependencies and assumptions.
  • Create and develop plans for growth and innovation to conduct business analysis.
  • Ensure team understanding and defining business needs and translating them into business processes and system needs (process mapping, requirement gathering, scoping).
  • Maximise profitability by linking management goals and standards with the practical means of achievement in a high impact operation or area of the business which drives significant improvement in profitability.
  • Collaborate with SME’s, stakeholders, and wider team to deliver on key initiatives.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 5+ years of experience demonstrable track record of successfully contributing to the delivery of complex, large scale IT projects.
  • Have a customer first mindset and the operation is set up to put the customer first especially when linking with other operations or businesses.
  • Experience and understanding of business and IT needs in logistics and transport operations -Advantageous.
  • Experience with techniques such as use case analysis, data/process flow diagramming, process mapping and detailed business and functional requirements documentation.
  • Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills.
