About the role
We have a role that we are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a 12 month fixed term to join the Woolworths Lease Management & Accounting team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager - Leases, you will be responsible for the financial management of a portfolio of leases (including Subleases) across the Group.
In this role, you will
â— Ensure the accuracy of lease and financial data in the company wide Lease Management system (PEPS) and SAP
â— Custodian of all occupancy payments/ income and ensuring that payments/ income are per Woolworths interpretation of the lease/ sublease
â— Continuous system and process improvements to achieve great efficiency and effectiveness
â— Effective management of lease accruals
â— SME on IFRS16 Accounting Standard
â— Assist other areas of Woolworths in regards to understanding the impact of occupancy costs, including Financial Control, Property Management and Divisional Finance teams
About you
â— Finance degree and CA/CPA qualified (or undertaking course)
â— Previous experience within the property industry and exposure to retail and landlord lease management is highly desirable
â— Strong business planning and analytical skills
â— Strong interpersonal skills
â— High level of attention to detail
â— Proactive approach to business decision support
â— An inclination to be curious
