Job Description Summary

Onboarding & Customer Communications will give you the opportunity to work in a fun dynamic team who are at the forefront of leading the way for customers & colleagues in transforming & digitising the Lloyds Banking Group Retail Bank across mobile, branch, telephony and internet banking. An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Loans Lab within the Onboarding & Customer Communications Value Stream as a Business Analyst. Dynamic, adaptable and a great communicator, the Business Analyst role is responsible for shaping initiatives that solve customer problems to transform our account opening experience. Key to this are: identifying business needs, analyzing requirements, as well as support testing and implementation of agreed solutions.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Loans Lab within the Onboarding & Customer Communications Value Stream as a Business Analyst. Dynamic, adaptable and a great communicator, the Business Analyst role is responsible for shaping initiatives that solve customer problems to transform our account opening experience.

About the Team:

We're looking for highly motivated self organising individual to work in an established agile feature team. The team has a great team and work ethic and enjoy delivering high quality code at a fast pace. Team members all support each other in delivering our user stories.

  • Great communicator, dynamic and adaptable with the ability to use & learn new skills
  • Ability to lead and drive the shaping of new initiatives forward in a requirement led way
  • Ability to facilitate efficient and effective decision making ensuring all parties feel understood and satisfied
  • Ability to validate designs and solutions

What we'd like to see on your CV

  • Understanding of business analysis and business architecture methodologies particularly analytical thinking and problem solving
  • Exposure to skills from multiple subject areas such as Operating Model, Process Design, Digital and Technology
  • Good understanding of banking operating model and process frameworks, along with techniques to analyse and improve (e.g. Lean)
  • Modelling – develop, define & document ‘As Is’ & ‘To Be’ process models and data definitions
  • Familiarity with tools & techniques for increased automated testing and construction of supporting Acceptance Criteria

Here's where you'll make a difference

  • Understand and identify underlying business needs, challenge and validate requirements and propose new solutions together with the internal team and external partner teams, ensuring alignment with strategy and Target Operating Model.
  • Facilitate managing the product backlog working collaboratively with the Product Owners and the delivery teams to ensure consistent understanding of the proposed solution and assist with elaboration, sprint planning activities etc.
  • Adopt a service design mentality, responsible for ensuring a balanced and cohesive outcome, including ensuring the operating model is aligned to any new solutions.
  • Encompass customer experience design, operation design and solution design, including the identification and resolution of macro and micro design decisions
  • Support Feature Team with testing preparation, automation and acceptance testing to ensure the solution meets the identified business need. Comply with Group policies and all regulatory and statutory requirements.
