An award winning Data Analytics company who provide a leading AI SaaS platform used by Blue-chip companies across the globe, and who are based in beautiful offices in Brighton have new role for a Business Analyst / Junior Product Owner. They are looking for an BA who has some commercial experience working with either web development, digital or SaaS projects to join their team. This role is offered on a flexi remote basis between their Brighton office, and home working and with a salary to £50k per annum.
This is a hybrid role requiring a Business Analyst who can learn the skills of a Product Owner for the scrum team. The individual will work closely with their Customer team, Data team and Tech team to implement features aligned to best practice configuration.
A key part of the role is to understand and document the requirements for customers and working with our tech teams as a Scrum product owner to ensure delivery of scope. You’ll also assist teams and individuals across the business to identify inefficiencies in the current working practices and help implement new ways of working across all functions of the business.
You’ll be responsible for:
â— Takes ownership for gathering requirements, defining scope and estimation of effort for new customer implementations
â— Works with the optimisation team and customer success team to define customer success plans
â— Takes ownership of roll out of new features and customer success plan to customers
â— Acts as subject matter expert of the customer engine and their product set
â— Acts as the scrum product owner, working with all contributors to ensure successful and high quality delivery of the product based on best practice
â— Defines and documents functional and technical requirements in the form of user stories and communicates these to both technical and non technical stakeholders
â— Ownership of customer configuration and optimisation to ensure our product is configured to best practice across clients as per best practice
â— Can process map an existing process, identify issues and their root causes and outline solutions to fix the problems
â— Can measure current process effectiveness and define new measures to see how successful any newly implemented ways of working have been
Ideal skills and experience:
â— 2+ years of experience
â— Ideally some experience of working in a SaaS or Digital software environment
â— Experience of using agile and hybrid development methodologies
â— Has an eye for detail and an inquisitive mindset and is always looking for improvements in our product and ways of working
â— Loves to work in a challenging customer facing role
â— Loves problem solving, seeking out issues and delivering change
â— Excellent communicator
â— Happy working with technical resources and senior management alike
