Business Administrator

  • Aged Care Assessment Services (ACAS)

The Aged Care Assessment Services incorporates the North West Aged Care Assessment Service and the Hume Regional Assessment Service. We are a Commonwealth funded assessment program supporting older people to make informed decisions about their care and living arrangements.

The Aged Care Assessment Services is part of the Home First, Ambulatory & Complex Care Services division of The Royal Melbourne Hospital at Royal Park Campus.

Your new role:

  • Partner with the manager and senior clinical team to provide innovative and accurate best practice advice and support on operational matters, system issues and workflow processes.
  • Contribute to the redesign and change management process as a result of Commonwealth Government Aged Care Reforms.
  • Build administration team capability through strong leadership and identification of opportunities for staff development and training.
  • Support manager in the delivery of an effective and financially viable service.

About you:

  • You have experience in managing a team with a collaborative working style.
  • You have effective communication skills and a passion for continued professional development.
  • You are proficient with software applications and database systems.
  • You have strong knowledge and application of concepts in the areas of finance, budget, budget analysis, human resources, employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, planning and tracking, facilities, asset acquisitions, contracts, IT and compliance.
