Job Description Summary
Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) is looking to recruit an Actuarial Analyst to join the Bulk Annuity Onboarding team within the Actuarial Change team in Finance. The role will be critical to support the growth strategy that LBG is adopting over the next few years.
Job Description
This role offers a superb opportunity to join our team in Actuarial Change. You’ll play a key role in onboarding any new schemes that we win into our Bulk Annuity Model - built in Prophet and R.
As well as onboarding new schemes the role offers the chance to get hands on experience developing the model and the tools so is a great launchpad into model development!
Building an understanding of the annuities being modelled and features of new bulks deals
Ensuring new trades are set-up and valued accurately within the model
Developing, testing and documenting changes to models to meet customer and governance requirements
Working with Data Systems & Change (DS&C), Assumptions and Methodology, Pricing, Production and Reporting teams to understand where changes impact the end-to-end process
Actuarial student partway through exams or have equivalent skills with Life Insurance or Pensions experience.
Confident and proactive communication.
Strong analytical and Excel skills are essential and experience of other actuarial software (Prophet or R) is an advantage.
Knowledge of UK defined benefit pensions or bulk annuities would be beneficial.
Curious in nature, and not afraid to ask questions to deepen your understanding.
