Job Description

We are currently looking for a Transport all-rounder to join our Express Parcels/Palletised Express division of Global Express,

Some of the responsibilities involved in this very busy role are -

• Customer â€“ with your main customer being one the largest oil and gas companies, your job will be to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved at all times
• Operations -  Ensuring the operation runs smoothly and are at all times staffed according to workload
• People â€“ Managing a team of 20 + people, you will need to maintain the already positive work environment for your staff, you will conduct work appraisals and performance management
• Financial â€“ Working towards the set budgets and KPIs in accordance with policies set out by the business
• Compliance â€“ Ensuring safety is at the forefront of everyone in the team, you will be required to have conversations with people about safety and you will be monitoring the compliance

Qualifications

A Little bit about you

As the priority express area of the business is time critical it is essential that you are used to working in a fast paced environment

• You have strong people management experience where you have helped your team to grow
• You have extensive Transport (or similar) experience
• You are safety obsessed and have experience driving a safety obsessed culture
• You are self motivated and enjoy working autonomously
• You would describe yourself as a ‘People Person’ you can build rapport quickly and effectively
