What will you be doing?
As a Big Data Engineer, you will work closely with the team and our stakeholders to build and deliver our Cloud based vision for a next generation Big Data analytics platform.
You will have a focus on data quality, data security and deliver the systems that process huge volumes of data. Working with our Data Scientists to help drive the company strategy and marketing campaigns out to our customers.
By applying machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques we're building a data driven company to better meet customers’ needs and offer them truly personalised services and products and deliver them a great customer experience.
Who are we looking for?
You will have;
• Worked on a cloud based Big Data services such as Amazon EMR and/ or GCP Dataproc
• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem (Spark, Hive / Presto/ Impala)
• Strong software development experience in Python
• Experience in designing, building and managing applications to process large amounts of data in a Hadoop ecosystem
• Worked in an Agile team producing frequent deliverables.
